Trucks transport massive SpaceX tanks on metro highways

Those driving on highways in the Kansas City metro area on Tuesday may have caught a glimpse of tanks heading to SpaceX.

Trucks are hauling two oxygen tanks to Brownsville, TX.

Law enforcement helped escort the equipment around the Kansas City metro area.

The Independence Police Department said the tanks moved from 24 Highway to Interstate 70 on Missouri 291.

It then entered on westbound I-70 and left the City of Independence just after 2 p.m.
